Description
This is in very nice condition with no cracks or chips. There's the typical noticeable raised seams in a few areas and light fading to areas of the silver bands, which I adore as a glass lover. If I wanted boring cookie cutter, I would buy the mass produced modem. This was made in the United States between 1933-1938 with the plate (mold) number 198. It's LE Smith item# 102. All of this information and its image can be found on page 101 of "L.E. Smith Glass Company, the First 100 years" by Tom Felt (the 2020 update). I recommend this for a nice reference, as it explains some of the transfer of Molds and how some things became mixed up. My favorite being some sketches of items found in a competitor's safe, and wrongly given credit for those items for years. This is nearly an antique, and deserves a loving home. It measures 6.25"H x 4.5"W including the "handles" I pack carefully and pad, as needed, to keep items safe on their journey. I will upgrade shipping for free, if I see there is a faster affordable option for the buyer's location. Please contact me prior to purchasing, if you prefer a specific company. I usually ship within 1 business day from our non-smoking home on the Ohio-Indiana State line. Thank you for looking, and have a nice day.
