Description

This stunning vintage vase from Tarnowiec Glassworks is a true piece of art. Hand-blown in Poland, it features a double-spouted design and stands at 11.4 inches tall. The glass, like all black glass, is in actuality a deep, deep amethyst color that presents as black. This large vase is perfect for any room and occasion, making it a versatile addition to your decorative collection. It weighs 3 pounds and 1.8 ounces, and measures 8.5 inches (spout tip to spout tip) in length and 5.8 inches in width. Based on my research, the vase if from the 1970s. As with hand-blown glass, there are a few small air bubbles, including a couple right on the surface. The bottom .2 inch of the base is clear glass; the base is polished and has an inverted, ground pontil area. The vase is in excellent used condition. There appears to be a small scratch on the upper portion, although it could simply be a mark from the blowing process (last picture). Please review all of the pictures as part of the description.
